General information and material properties
Ceramic worktops (e.g. Dekton, Bricmate, Infinity) are made from natural minerals processed at very high temperatures. The result is a strong, non-porous material.
Ceramic does not absorb liquids and is resistant to scratches, UV light and high temperatures. This makes it suitable for both kitchens and outdoor use.

Daily cleaning
Cleaning a ceramic worktop is easy. In most cases a soft cloth with lukewarm water or an all-purpose cleaner is enough.
The material tolerates a wide range of cleaning products, but abrasive scourers should be avoided, as they can visually dull the surface.

- Excessive hard scrubbing
Stain removal
Because ceramic does not absorb liquids, most stains are easy to remove. Even dried-on dirt does not penetrate the material.

Heat and use
Ceramic is extremely heat-resistant and can withstand direct contact with hot pots and pans. Even so, we recommend using trivets to avoid any risk of thermal shock.

Durability and characteristics
Ceramic is one of the most durable worktop materials. It is UV-resistant, does not change colour and is well suited to outdoor use.
Although the surface is very strong, the edges can be more vulnerable to impact, so avoid dropping heavy objects on them.
